4th of July

Hope you all had a great Independence Day!

I love days off. They are the best!

We slept in (obviously), and then headed

to the Ward Party. Then went home, took a nice

nap, relaxed, BBQ-ed on our balcony..

played video games.. watched tv...

relaxed some more.. and played with our pup!

We headed up to our nearby hill where I go

all the time to take pictures. Whisler Ridge Hill.

We saw minimum 30 shows from our spot!

It was awesome!

Life Lately

Wow, i feel like i just can't catch up anymore

life is busy with work and church and working out.

it just never ends. I don't want it to end up

but sometimes you just need a break. 

so glad we got to do that this weekend

with some friends from Idaho, 

Kevin & Gretchen

we went down the HB Pier 

enjoyed a stunning sunset

& ate at Rubys

The next day was hoping the beach would 

be warm.. but Laguna failed us.. it was

so windy and cold.. no sun :-(

we stayed about 1 hour, ate lunch

then headed back to our apartment pool

where it was much warmer!

aaron loves those chinese therapy massages..

we've gone to get massages twice this month 

already! we are in pain....

it was about 100 in the car and 95 outside...

therefore the tongue is waaay out.

                                     

i love this little guy

with the weather being so nice in the evenings its

fun to go hiking or running nearby.

the aliso creek trail is a famous one for sure.

i find myself on it quite often.

the views to saddleback are great and i love

exploring back there.

the recent Super Moon.. it was way better

to see in real life!

 

I've found myself at the beach a lot

for work lately. I'm not complaining, trust me.

I have this awesome telephoto lens where

you can zoom in and see something a few

miles out. I spotted this ship in 

San Clemente one day!

I seriously love my job.

and I love my job so much that they even

put me on the cover of the magazine?!

I was soooo stoked! I'm front and center in the

purple shirt with my camera wrapped around

my neck. I have to say, in the 1 year i've had

my business... I never thought i'd make 

an impression so good as to get on 

their magazine. I must be doing something right.

YAY

Life has been great, just super busy.

I kinda like it that way though.

Fun All Around!

Fun, fun fun..... that's pretty much all we have lately!

As for church fun, my 2nd calling has now been switched 

from RS Committee to Wolf Den Assistant!

Why am I thrilled? I teach these boys in

Primary too!! Lucky them, they get to see me

now twice a week. Such sweet and fun boys

but MAN! SO MUCH ENERGY!

sidecar and he'll ride with us on the

motorcycle!

last night we found out Aaron's cousin Kyle

and his wife were in town in Huntington Beach!

We drove down to meet them at Sushi on Fire.

We had a ball catching up with them and spending

time with them. We rarely ever get to see family

so when they are here, we love to see them!

I won't mention that Kyle threw up his sushi

in his mouth... he won't be eating sushi ever

again. This was his first time.

Afterwards we cleaned out our mouths 

with a delicious BJ's Pizookie!

My Birthday - 24!

Happy Birthday to Me! 

on April 25th i turned 24 years old! 

I actually feel old. I'm not old, but I feel it.

This was my 1st Birthday back in 1990!

We went to Fuddruckers for my FREE burger

and then polished off some BR ice cream!

On saturday we went to check out Cinepolis,

the luxury movie theater in RSM.

For $19 a seat, it's not bad!

We died and went to heaven when we saw

these chairs. We decided we just need these 2 chairs

in our living room with the pull out tables

and we're good! Who needs a couch anyways?

no one comes over anyways...

 Birthday Flowers!!

This same week my visiting teachers, Tiersha 

(and charlotte!) and Shelly

took me out for Golden Spoon!

and don't forget what I got for my bday...

my new NIKE ZOOMS! which I am loving.

I had a fantastic birthday and I especially

can't wait for my GOLDEN birthday next year!

mmmm.... maybe a surprise birthday party

or fun trip? We shall see!

Easter Weekend usually isn't a big deal around our house

the best part is church. always. and being in

Primary it always makes it a little more special 

because we are teaching the children and building

their testimony of Jesus. 

we'll get to more about that later. 

had to watch Maria Sharapova almost win against Serena. 

UGH. she'll get her next time on clay.

hubby lasted about a whole 35 minutes before he was 

falling asleep

in the sun. we're both pleasantly pink now!
