Antis Christmas 2013

I won't even go into my feelings about
Christmas this year. I just wasn't feeling it!
However, Christmas came and went and it
was a LOT of fun with the Antis Gang.

Aaron, Aubrey (holding Baby the Chiweenie), Erek,
Mona (GF), Grandma Carol, Grandpa Dave, Ally,
Desi, Doug, baby Maximus in the carseat, little Aleck,
Sean, Gary, Maureen, Lucy, Uncle Charlie, Mama Dawn,
little Noah & My!

Trigger didn't get to spend the whole day with us
so we had to snap some photos on my camera
timer with the guy.  Can't you tell he loved it?!

yes, he can jump 5 feet high!

Our little Antis Family!

We had a great Christmas. This year we didn't really do
gifts for each other. We decided that we want to
invest in a nice couch setup with a Recliner and everything.
The whole shebang!

Other then that, we just got little stuff for our family
and friends and enjoyed celebrating Christmas.

Jesus is the best and I love him. I thank him
every day for all He has done for me.

now…. onto 2014! Now that's something
to be excited about!

Thanksgiving 2013

This was the first time in 3 years we actually went
somewhere for the holidays! wow!

This is Aaron's busy time and he's been working his way
up in the company so it's been hard to leave during this time.
Thankfully we got a few days off and drove up to Utah and Idaho.
We stopped for 1 hour at my family's in Sandy for a
mini-thanksgiving! It was great to see them, even though I had
just seen them 2 weeks previously for my sisters wedding!

This has been a record year, seeing them 4 times!

We then headed up to Rigby where we took Aaron's
mom to dinner at our favorite, Big Jud's Burgers
in Archer Id! Soooo good! I still dream about their
tater tots! We even got to see Big Jud himself!

Then we drove another 1.5 hrs to Island Park
where the rest of the Fam was waiting for us at
this awesome and huge cabin!

Thanksgiving Texas Style!
Ribs, Brisket, Sausage, Bacon…. ALL from Texas
that arrived by Plane! #2legit2quit #antisstyle

Bonfire just outside - roasting marshmallows!

Snowmobiling! There wasn't that much snow
so we tipped over quite a few times…...

The whole Fam! Love those guys.

Thanksgiving is so much fun and we have so much
to be thankful for - I for one, am grateful for my
hard working husband that made it possible for us
to do this trip. Without him, i'd be nothing!

Hope you all had a nice Turkey Day.

CANCUN MEXICO MOVIE & REPORT

We've finally returned from our trip to Mexico
Here's a video I put together:

We had a blast! I didn't want to go home
but Aaron sure was. He got "sick".... whether
it was food poisoning or from drinking the
water, we don't know. He was OUT for
about 3 days just going back and forth
from the bed to the bathroom, poor guy.
Dont Drink Their Water!
(only bottled and ask for no ice)

Thankfully we were able to have a few days
to enjoy, relax and have some fun before that
all happened.

The Resort was Dreams Puerto Aventuras
We didn't really realize how small the resort was...
We've never been to Cancun before let alone a Resort.
We didn't have anything to compare it to, so when we heard
it was the smallest in Cancun I then kinda wished we went
to a bigger one. But that's ok. There was like 6
restaurants including 1 buffet.

The food was decent but not great. I really enjoyed
the Mexican Restaurant, obviously...
Aaron is a bit picky with his foods so next
time we will spend more money to go to a nicer
resort with better food. Food is a big deal to us.

The Ocean water..... The Caribbean is AMAZING
sooooooo warm!!!!!!
We pretty much spent a whole Saturday just in the water.
We didn't want to leave.
We swam and snorkeled all day long.
There were so many beautiful fish and animals in the Sea!

The grounds were beautiful!! This was the "romantic gazebo"
for private dinners! We didn't book one but that would
have been fun. There were palm trees everywhere..
the sand felt amazing... and the people were so nice!

TULUM!
Man, this place was breathtaking
and such amazing history!

Xel-ha, this was a really fun "waterpark"
like place we spent one day at.
Wild Rivers will never compare....
There was snorkeling, water tubes,
cliff jumping, dolphins, FOOD!

XPLOR
This place was AMAZING and I
recommend everyone go!!!
Incredible Views as far as the eye can see,
Fast and Fun Ziplines, Gorgeous and Incredible
Caves to explore and
swim in... and Yummy Food!
But don't forget your Waterproof camera and
water shoes (those help a lot!)
We didn't have a waterproof camera
but we still had lots of fun.

Us sneaking one of their photos on the screen!
if you can see the tower on the left, that towers
zip lines connect you to another tower..
there's like 10+ towers you just keep going and going
and it's so much fun!

Enjoying the Mexican Life... Deep down,
I am a true mexican.

Flying home... Beautiful Views!

We had a great trip despite that Aaron got sick.. and then I
got sick a few days after... We really needed the vacation and it
was worth it. Next time we will spend a bit more to go to a nicer
resort now that we know what we're in for.

The resort was overall very nice.. our room was a bit loud, on the
Marina side which overlooks the adult only pool side... which can
be noisy as we all know when people are drinking.
Also our water got turned off in the middle of my first shower there,
that wasn't very fun... and lastly there were tons of pools but NO
hot jacuzzi's! WHAT? We were really disappointed about that.

One great thing though were our "tour guides" -- Olympus Tours
and they did a phenomenal job communicating with us
and getting us to where we needed to be on time and
telling us what to expect and what to bring.

Overall we had a great time and it was difficult to come back
home and get to work... but we're happy to be home.

5 years sure does go by fast! Happy Anniversary to Us!

***we booked our trip through cheapcaribbean.com and
we found a 4th of july deal that we could not refuse**
5 nights 6 days, flights included for about $2000. That's
not including the 2 extra excursions we did**
Booking thru them was great and we will do it again!
