Life Lately

Wow, i feel like i just can't catch up anymore
life is busy with work and church and working out.
it just never ends. I don't want it to end up
but sometimes you just need a break.

so glad we got to do that this weekend
with some friends from Idaho,
Kevin & Gretchen

we went down the HB Pier
enjoyed a stunning sunset
& ate at Rubys

The next day was hoping the beach would
be warm.. but Laguna failed us.. it was
so windy and cold.. no sun :-(
we stayed about 1 hour, ate lunch
then headed back to our apartment pool
where it was much warmer!

aaron loves those chinese therapy massages..
we've gone to get massages twice this month
already! we are in pain....

Aaron and Trigger napping... we find ourselves
here a lot..

Trigger and I running some work errands!
it was about 100 in the car and 95 outside...
therefore the tongue is waaay out.

i love this little guy

with the weather being so nice in the evenings its
fun to go hiking or running nearby.
the aliso creek trail is a famous one for sure.
i find myself on it quite often.
the views to saddleback are great and i love
exploring back there.

the recent Super Moon.. it was way better
to see in real life!

I've found myself at the beach a lot
for work lately. I'm not complaining, trust me.
I have this awesome telephoto lens where
you can zoom in and see something a few
miles out. I spotted this ship in
San Clemente one day!

another great shot from a Dana Point job I had.
I seriously love my job.

and I love my job so much that they even
put me on the cover of the magazine?!
I was soooo stoked! I'm front and center in the
purple shirt with my camera wrapped around
my neck. I have to say, in the 1 year i've had
my business... I never thought i'd make
an impression so good as to get on
their magazine. I must be doing something right.
YAY

Life has been great, just super busy.
I kinda like it that way though.

Things to look forward to:
4TH OF JULY
ARW PARTY @ HOUSE OF BLUES
5TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
ANNIVERSARY TRIP!!!

work lately...

Work has been insane lately!
I can't complain but i've been
seriously busy lately! It's hard
to fit everything all in a day when
I have so much to do and so many
places to be at.

Real Estate Photography definitely has
its ups and down, busy seasons, etc...
So I need to say YES to everything
that comes my way.

below is a great pano shot of
a 1.5 million dollar listing in newport coast.
it was so much fun to take photos!

I also am the 2013 OCAR Photographer for
all their events throughout the year.
I love interacting and networking with
every one, it's so much fun to get
paid to have fun!

here's me and my friend Peter chauffeuring
me around the Tijeras Creek Golf Course
in RSM as I take pictures for
a golf tournament. We had a blast!
He only has a drivers license from
disneyland.. so it was a bumpy ride!

One very cool thing that happened out of
the blue was being able to photograph
a 1 year anniversary event at an escrow
company in aliso viejo. They hired
Joe Youkhan from The Food Network,
he has his own food truck based in Trabuco
Canyon.. The Tasting Spoon. It was
great to meet him and get a pic with him.
He's going to be on the show CHOPPED
in the fall competing. Honestly, you
never know how things will work out
with the people you meet from work.
So this one was a cool one!

delicious food he made!

working hard // too hard

Working is great but can also be very stressful at the same time.
Lately it seems my work load comes in spurts. Which is nice, most of the time.
except for today when it's such great weather outside today.
 i yearn to be poolside.

I've literally been at my desk for 2 days.

and this poor pup gets the brunt of my work load... loneliness...
thankfully his best friend, rosco, lives next door and so they play for a while but sometimes they don't and he ends up cuddling me behind my desk chair because there is simply nothing else to do. and truth be told, i like love it. he's so darn cute.

i can't get through these long work days without one of these.
ritter sport.
or at least something chocolate covered.

and some funny dog pictures help too. wouldn't you agree?
those eyes. haha!

I hope i can get through the rest of this week!
the weekend calls my name about every 5.6 seconds.
