I tend to think Summer Sunsets are my favorite

but these past few years I've look backed through

my photos and noticed my November/December

ones have been truly spectacular. I'm now thinking

Winter Sunsets are the way to go.

I truly have a passion for sunset shots

and it brings me a lot of joy being outside

and watching the sun go down.. it's very

symbolic and refreshing to me.

I have a Canon Rebel t3i and I love it.

I have 3 different lenses..

10-20mm ultra wide angle - real estate and wide scenery

18-55mm - portraits/light weight walk around lens 

 (i use this one the least)

and 55-250mm I love this one for zooming in

up close and getting great detail shots from 

far away.

My Work Friends

Over the past year and a half I've had to opportunity to meet and become friends with some people I do business with! It truly is another world I never knew existed but I am so glad I found. 

In having my own photography business since May 2012, I've grown so much as a person, business woman and friend. With in that time I've become close with some great people that I otherwise would have never met! 

And we sure have a lot of fun together at 

all our OCAR Events that I get to Photograph!!

Conference Weekend

We have had a pretty chill weekend.

We love those.

Trigger does too.

you guys are going to die. i photographed this backyard

on friday for a client that i have. i just about died when i 

saw the backyard. it was featured on HGTV's "I Want That"

this is just on my phone, but i'll check out my work

I am THRILLED now to say I am a proud owner

of a 10-22mm ultra wide angle lens. 

this is the big time people.

some clients have actually refused to do work with me

until i got this lens. now no one can say no to me! :-)

Its truly remarkable how wide it is without distorting

the photos in any way. it makes a HUGE difference

especially in smaller properties.

We headed to the gym on friday night as well.

We like to do that together. 

I also like to sneak pix of my hot hubby

lifting weights. hehe 

Did you know this machine is called the 

Thighsolator? 

this thing is a beast but i love it. 

especially when checking out my 

brand new birthday kicks.

it's good for you

aubrey lately...

after this week of sitting at my desk for i believe 3 days 

straight i finally was able to

get off my butt and take some fun photos! a 50s mixer at the coto 

de caza country club for the orange county association 

of realtors which i am a member of as an affiliate.

i love working events where its fun and i know most of the people. 

that makes it worth the work. here is me attempting to 

look like im from the 50s era. which im not. 

I took some pictures of some fun people who dressed up too! 

that makes it even more fun.

the triggster and i went on a hike this morning and found a trail that leads up to the construction of the lake forest sports park that is getting built right now. We got this sweet panoramic view. im obsessed. i'm sure we'll go up there often as the work progresses. 

I am in love with lake forest and all there is to do here.

and just for fun... backyard of a house i took pictures of on wednesday in mission viejo.

this is my good friend lindsay and she's having a baby girl due on my birthday! April 25th! 

Im looking forward to her baby shower on saturday as well as spending some much needed time with my hubby.

 yes. that one. love him.

working hard // too hard

Working is great but can also be very stressful at the same time.

Lately it seems my work load comes in spurts. Which is nice, most of the time.

except for today when it's such great weather outside today.

 i yearn to be poolside.

I've literally been at my desk for 2 days.

and this poor pup gets the brunt of my work load... loneliness... 

thankfully his best friend, rosco, lives next door and so they play for a while but sometimes they don't and he ends up cuddling me behind my desk chair because there is simply nothing else to do. and truth be told, i like love it. he's so darn cute.

i can't get through these long work days without one of these.

I hope i can get through the rest of this week! 

the weekend calls my name about every 5.6 seconds.
