epic ski day
((snow valley))
can you imagine me skiing? I couldn't. but I did it anyway. I have always snow boarded, all the three times I did it. the hubbster has always skied and wouldn't you guess, his first place he ever skied. ever. The Alps. yah, the ones in switzerland. so needless to say, he's experienced.

now back to me. we went with our close friends the johnsons - he is really good but she has only gone once before so we took a beginner lesson together. perfect idea. it really gave me the confidence i needed. and the teacher was awesome. so we learned the basics and an hour into the lesson he'd asked me if i skied before, i said nope! yaaaa, thats right.
aubrey & kaleena
so off we went, on our own. lesson was over and i was good to go. i was ready for the slopes. so we went on the next level up from the "bunny slope" and we cruised down in like 2 minutes flat. unfortunately at snow valley that day they only had 3 runs open. only three.
aaron & chad - the pros.
after 3 runs down the intermediate hill somehow hubbster convinced me to try the BIG ONE. the really steep one. the only reason i really went up there was for the long lift ride up (if you know what i mean...), oh and the view. the view was epic.
to say we had fun would be an understatement, we had a blast!
husband & wife skiers! looks. so. good. hot.
ski lift!
coming down the mountain with kaleena
i totally crashed and took a nice nap on the way home. man, what a fun day.
lets do that again!
(besides the falling down part where the ski rammed into my leg and now i have a really bad bruise)
